Coffee Talk Ed. No 11

TBH, I didn’t even realize it was Friday but I’m sure glad it is!

p.s. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could drink your coffee every morning in bed like this picture depicts?!

It’s been an odd week.  I’ve had a sinus headache coupled with a runny nose and sore throat everyday so this entire week seems like a big blur.  Not sure if it’s allergies or a spring cold, but whatever the case, it’s not pleasant.  I’ve basically been a boring, grandma all week (just ask my husband, he’s been doing it all) in bed by 9 most nights.  Lots of time spent in my pajamas, sipping many cups of coffee, and internet browsing for things I don’t necessarily need, but want anyways!

I was off yesterday with my daughter who was sick also, so my days are all mixed up.  On a positive note however, I am feeling better, acting more myself, and ready for the weekend.  The sun is shining and it’s a beautiful Spring day! It was great to get outside on my lunch break for some vitamin D and fresh air!

If you love lounge wear like me, then you’ll love these super soft jogger pants.

I purchased a bath bomb that I’m excited to try.  I’m generally not the bath type (something strange to me about washing off in a bath, only to sit in your own dirty water…. I prefer to shower when it comes to getting clean), but I do like to soak and relax in a hot bath from time to time.  I have high hopes that this little baby will soak all my stress away 🙂

Every weekend is fun, but I’m especially looking forward to this weekend because it’s Mother’s Day weekend!  Being a Mom is such a blessing.  It is my favorite role in life.  I may have sacrificed my body, sleep, sanity, money, social life, privacy, energy, memory, and patients but it was all worth it to see them smile and to hear them laugh and tell me they love me.  I am proud of many things, but nothing beats being a mother.

My Daughter, Addie

I have my mother to thank for making me who I am today; for guiding me and setting a good example. All that I am, or ever hope to be I owe to my mother.  She is the most important woman in my life and if I turn out to be half the woman she is I will have succeeded!

My Mama

Have a GREAT weekend everyone and happy Mother’s Day to all the many wonderful mothers out there!
