Happy Fri-yaaaay! Oh, the joyful anticipation of weekend!
Anyone else agree that this week went by extremely fast? (not complaining)
I don’t have much planned this weekend, so I’m looking forward to a little downtime to relax at home with my kiddos! Saturday morning coffee in my pj’s and homemade breakfast are what I live for.
Monday, my best friend, Toni had her second child….a BOY! I got to snuggle, kiss, and squeeze him that afternoon. He’s so handsome and perfect and I couldn’t be happier for them.
Tuesday afternoon, Luke had his one-year-old birthday pictures taken at Stephen’s Lake park by the talented Amelia Holder, owner and operator of Holder Photography. I got to see a few of the sneak peeks yesterday evening and can’t wait to see more! It was a blustery, but warm February day and Luke was in a great mood. I can’t wait to see how they all turned out!

Sunday, I am hosting my sister-in-law’s baby shower. She is expecting her third child, a GIRL, this April! We’re doing a “sprinkle” rather than a full on shower, with lunch at Sophia’s. P.S. There are soooo many babies being born this spring it’s giving me some serious baby fever. Must refrain….
I watched the Oscars last Sunday, but like always, I hadn’t even heard of half of the Oscar-nominated films. #momlife I am hoping to watch either moonlight or la-la land this weekend to see what all the buzz is about!
I just purchased my first audiobook Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between) which I originally purchased online at amazon.com. The online purchase comes with a free 30 trial and a second book “gift” purchase ($14.95/mo after the first 30 days). Once purchased, you receive a link to audible.com which then allows you to download the app for your phone or tablet. Figured I’d give it a try to see if it’s something I want to continue with.
I’ve got my eye on these new shoes. And I’m considering upcycling an old shag rug with fabric paint!!!
Cheers!!!!
