Coffee Talk Ed. No 24

Alright people, it’s Friday!  We can do this!  Time to rise and shine…aka caffeinate and hope for the best!

If you missed this weeks posts you can check them out here and here!

FALL SCENTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN BATH AND BODY WORKS!!  Sorry for yelling, but I’m just SOOOO excited!  I can’t stress enough how much I love, love, love fall scented anything.  Each year, I stock up on my favorite scent “Leaves” from Bath and Body Works.  I use the concentrated room sprays and wall flowers year round in our home.  It’s my #1 go-to scent.

I started a new, earlier shift this week at my day job from 7am-3pm.  Yes, it’s only 30 minutes earlier, but that lack of 30 minutes of sleep is killing me.  I’ve hit the snooze button waaaay too many times the past few days and been slacking on my morning routine.  It is great getting off work at an earlier time, however.  It allows me time to go to the gym and take a few workout classes and even get my shopping or other errands done before picking up the kids from daycare.  All-in-all, it’s a WIN, It’s just going to take a few more days/weeks to get my body use to getting up earlier.

We went to the Missouri State Fair last Sunday.  My family members are diehard fair goers.  I’m talking super adamant, pay for your camping spot in February, first in line, one week before the fair even starts kind of diehard.  They stay in a camper (and by camper, I mean, a very nice, big, luxurious RV) for 2 weeks! Anyways, we took the kids Sunday to see all the fair has to offer.  It’s a kids playground for sure!  Cows, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, horses and all the junk food you could think of!  They had a great time exploring the tractors, playing in corn, and riding a camel!

Tuesday, I decided it was time to clean out my kids’ carseats.  I literally found 3 meals worth of food in my son’s seat!  Not joking!  Suckers, cheerios, fruit snacks, fruit loops, gold fish, you name it!  So. Gross. It took less than 5 minutes to get them out and undone, but putting them back in was a different story!  I’m not exaggerating when I say it took all of 20 minutes a carseat to put them back together and re-installed into my car!  Not something I want to do again anytime soon.

Well, I could ramble on and on, but I’ll save it for another coffee talk 😉 Have a blessed, fabulous weekend my friends!  xoxo
