I met my husband Aaron at the A.L. Gustin Golf course (where he works) in Spring of 2010. While visiting my dad (who is an avid golfer) he noticed me from a distance and asked him later, “Who’s that hot blonde you were talking to earlier?”, to which my dad replied, “That’s my daughter!” He and I were both on the mend from a recent break-up and not feeling up to dating at the time, but my dad insisted that we meet. A few weeks later, I went to Gustin again to meet up with my dad, who was going to formally introduce us. Little did I know, the gentleman I first came in contact with to ask what hole my dad’s group was on, was Aaron himself! After an awkward 5-10 min conversation and exchange of phone numbers, I went on my way and received an almost instant text message asking me to dinner that weekend. Of course, I said “Yes” and we’ve been together ever since!
He proposed on Christmas Eve 2011 in front of my ENTIRE family and Santa Clause!
The date was set and the preparation began! 09/22/2012
We were married on a gorgeous September afternoon in my hometown (Marceline, MO) at Bethany Baptist Church. It was a perfect day and I wish I could relive it every year on our Anniversary. I did, I do, and I always will! Love `Always n’ Forever`
