New Year. Blank Slate

Master Bedroom Refresh

I love January for two reasons: 1) it’s my birthday Month and 2) it feels like a hard reset on life. I find myself organizing and making plans for myself and my family. While I’m not big on new years resolutions, I do like to set some basic, attainable goals.

It never fails that while putting away the Christmas decorations, I find myself wanting to restyle and rearrange some things in our house. The living room always feels so bare and empty once the tree is gone so it makes the most sense (to me) to rework the furniture in our living room.

I didn’t publish as many blog posts last year as I have in the past and I’m 100% ok with that. I’m giving myself grace and reminding myself I don’t have to post daily or weekly….I can post when I want as many or as few times as I want yearly. I have to reassure myself, I’m not perfect and I this isn’t a full-time job for me. I need work, life balance and my career takes up a lot of my days so when I have “free time” I want to spend it making memories with my family not worrying about keeping up with other bloggers and their daily posts.

In attempt to keep this short and sweet I just want to say, “Thank you” to those of you who read and support me on here and on social media. Cheers to the new year! I look forward to another year of sharing posts, Instagram content, and bits of my life and connecting with you all.
